Live from the festival, Imani interviews Belgian handpan artist Koné about hearing rhythms in everyday sounds, his musical beginnings in percussion, and how he discovered the handpan at 16.
He shares the story behind his name, rooted in his parents’ travels and a close family friend in Mali, and describes finding his first handpan through a flooded-cellar listing, later realising it was the 67th PANArt Hang ever made.
Koné explains finishing a Master’s in Law while building his music career, touring internationally, and forming the didgeridoo-handpan duo Tribal Twins after meeting Filippo busking in Copenhagen.
He discusses entering a “channel” state while playing, how music and meditation helped him through difficult teen years, and how conscious festivals - starting with Soul Revolution - gave him community and support.
He also previews collaborations and a dream-themed harp-handpan album debuting at Soul Revolution.

What happens when someone grows up around Christianity, walks away to explore Eastern spirituality, and unexpectedly finds themselves drawn back to faith?
In this deeply honest conversation, musician Satsang shares his remarkable spiritual journey—from an abusive childhood and years of searching through meditation, yoga, psychedelics, and Eastern philosophy, to addiction, relapse, and a life-changing encounter that renewed his relationship with God.
Together we explore:
• Why organised religion pushed him away, but Jesus drew him back
• The story behind his band name, Satsang
• Bob Marley's spiritual influence on his music
• Childhood trauma, healing, and finding identity
• Addiction, sobriety, and the dream that changed everything
• The Bible verses that now shape his daily life
• Grace, forgiveness, and the Woman at the Well
• Why he believes faith is ultimately about a personal relationship with God—not religion
This conversation isn't about recruiting anyone into a belief system. It's about honest questions, lived experience, healing, and the search for truth.
If this conversation encouraged you, consider subscribing for more thoughtful interviews exploring faith, purpose, creativity, and transformation.

In this episode, Baljit, founder of Journey of Compassion, shares his journey from a first-generation Punjabi household with little religious discussion into Sikh spirituality, including early philosophical questioning, adolescent numbing through alcohol and weed, and a major mental breakdown in 2017 that deepened his seeking.
He describes a transformative experience of stillness beyond time (sach khand) and explains how devotion, community (sangat), and practices like breath-based mantra (“Waheguru”) can support mind health alongside professional help.
Baljit discusses translating Sikh scripture into relatable English, how his teaching expanded globally, and how Journey of Compassion grew from online contemplation sessions to one-to-ones, gatherings, and daily guided meditations.
He also mentions the festival’s shift into a multi-faith space and his upcoming meditation and panel participation.

In this powerful episode of Soul Revolution, we sit down with MoYah an artist, storyteller, and spiritual seeker whose journey bridges music, faith, identity, and purpose.
Born in Mozambique and raised across cultures, MoYah shares his deeply personal story of migration, self-discovery, and transformation. From his early days immersed in hip hop culture to touring across 18 countries, his artistry has always been rooted in something deeper, truth, consciousness, and connection.
But this conversation goes far beyond music.
We explore MoYah’s spiritual journey through Christianity, Buddhism, Rastafarianism, and ultimately Islam uncovering how faith reshaped not only his life, but the message within his music. He opens up about the power of intention, the responsibility of words, and how love can be a force for real change in the world.
Together, we dive into:
The true purpose of music beyond entertainment
How hip hop can inspire social and political change
Faith, surrender, and trusting a higher plan
Identity, migration, and the human experience
Love, unity, and what it really means to serve others
This episode is a reminder that we are more connected than we think and that when we lead with love, we can transform not only ourselves, but the world around us.

We sat down with Swami Anashuya and spoke about devotion, but not in the way it’s usually packaged.
It felt more like an honest unpacking of the deeper questions; what does God actually want from us? And what does it really mean to live a life aligned with that?
We also spoke about:
- What bhakti (devotion) really is, beyond religion or performance
- The difference between knowing about God and actually experiencing Him
- Why surrender isn’t passive, it asks something of you
- The tension between control and trust in real life
- What we think we’re giving up vs what we’re actually being led into
- How devotion shapes your identity, not just your actions
A heart-to-heart conversation with Swami Anashuya about God, purpose, and what it means to actually walk this out.

In this conversation, we explore the life of a woman who has walked through deep loss, motherhood at a young age, and life-altering decisions and still chose to build something meaningful, grounded, and expansive.
From dancing at 13, to raising four children, to losing her mother at 25…
to travelling to India in search of something deeper…
to building a yoga studio from her garden that grew into a global community, this is a story of resilience in motion.
We speak about:
– Grief and how it reshapes identity
– Motherhood, partnership, and long-term commitment
– Building a purpose-led business from the ground up
– Making life-changing health decisions
– The role of spirituality and discipline in sustaining growth
This isn’t just about yoga.
It’s about the thread that holds you together when life tries to pull you apart.
If you’re in a season of rebuilding, becoming, or questioning, this conversation will meet you there.

In this episode we sit down with Aman, the heart behind Little Earth.
Our conversation explores what it means to stand at the edge of change: starting again, releasing attachment to what once was, and trusting the unknown road ahead.
Little Earth has quietly become a refuge for many. A place where community gathers, where prayer has filled the walls, and where countless conversations about life, faith, and purpose have unfolded.
Aman and the Little Earth Centre have supported the Soul Revolution podcast and festival with deep generosity, offering their space freely so that creative and spiritual conversations could continue to grow.
The centre has also opened its doors to community initiatives such as Mandem Meet-Up Wolves and other grassroots projects, becoming a home for connection, healing, and honest dialogue.
As Aman looks toward his next chapter, we reflect on what it means to let go with grace. There is grief in goodbyes, but there is also something sacred in the shaping of character through perseverance and trust.
A house of prayer never truly closes. The spirit of what has been built continues through the lives it has touched.
We honour Aman, and we journey with him into whatever comes next.

Faith, Discipline & the Return to God...
What happens when a mathematician, a former addict, and a seeker of truth stops numbing the pain and starts asking better questions?
In this episode, I sit with Usman Ali, a faith-based Muslim life coach, writer, and teacher who blends discipline, embodiment, and spiritual clarity to help people break free from self-destructive patterns.
We speak honestly about:
* Addiction: weed, binge eating, escapism, and the silent war within
* The search for meaning in a world drowning in distraction
* What Islam actually is: beyond culture, beyond headlines
* How faith, structure, and submission transformed Usman’s inner life
* The role of yoga and meditation in healing and why this is controversial for some Muslims
* How Usman works with clients to rebuild mind, body, and soul from the inside out
This is not a polished conversation.
It’s raw. It’s thoughtful. It’s uncomfortable in the right places.
If you’re tired of coping and ready to become, this episode is for you.
Subscribe for long-form conversations on faith, healing, discipline, and the human experience.
